Fly Moustache is an animation production company in Algarve, Portugal. They had a job for Tertúlia Algarvia in creating an animation video to promote The Mediterranean Diet together with the portuguese government. My task was to write, create and record a new voice over - with my own voice - for the spanish version of the original video, and then redesign and mix the sound of all the audio layers again with my final voice over.
Carlo Guaragna · Clean Yoga Club

Carlo Guaragna is a yoga teacher and digital influencer who needed to rebrand his yoga subscription classes (Clean yoga Club) and to create inviting social media ads for his channels in different formats. As a music producer and sound designer, I was able to create engaging and relaxing music for his classes weekly, peaceful soundscapes for his meditations, to enhance his voice and improve audio quality of classes and ads with sound design and dialogue editing and to compose and mix captivating music to make users engage and emote with his new social media ads. I also created the official brand logo motif for his new app.
Special Opening Sequences from 2021
In 2021, before the CYC app launch, every month had a different theme and opening sequence for which I always composed a new musical motif. All music and sound design from all classes where made by me as well.
Die Daddy Die · Mad Cauldron

I had the opportunity to develop both music and sounds for the game Die Daddy Die for Mad Cauldron studios alongside two other musicians. I was in charge of recording the Foley and post producing all sounds for each phase of the game. I directed the voice over for the official trailer and post produced it besides doing all it's sound design and final mix. The music for the main screen and closing credits of the game was also composed by me.
Yoga Burn Podcast · Carlo Guaragna & Dra. Michelle Almeida
Sound Design, Video Editing and Opening Logo
As part of Carlo Guaragna's Clean Yoga Club app, he and doctor and nutritionist Michelle Almeida launched a few podcast episodes for a project called Yoga Burn, which focused of weight and fat loss. I edited and post produced not only the video, but the audio, dialogue and music as well.

Foley and Sound Design
My role is this project was simple: I had to create and record all foley only using my mouth! All voices and sounds were made and post produced by myself. Acorda Nuno is the teaser of a project imagined by animator João Carrilho who I work with at Fly Moustache. It was based on a TV Series called "Como é que o Bicho Mexe" created by Nuno Markl and Bruno Nogueira, two Portuguese comedians featured in this animation.
Ressurect Me · Short Film

As part of my Music Composition for Screen Master's Degree at Katarina Gurska, I had to compose, conduct and record my own music with a string quintet and flute for a scene or short movie. Film director Renato Coelho had a short film entitled Ressurect Me, shot in a real 8mm camera, which originally has no sound. It was the perfect opportunity to write not only music for it, but to incorporate just a bit of sound design to make the experience richer.
Henry Mancini Tribute · A Shot in The dark

During my Master's Degree we had the opportunity - and also the challenge - of composing music that would evoke the sound style of another famous music composer for the screen. My choice was to emulate Henry Mancini, famous for writing music for all Pink Panther's movies and it's original theme. I had to write, compose and produce an orchestration that could pass or at least resemble his style for the opening credits of the movie "A Shot in the Dark" (1964), originally scored by Mancini himself. Hope I was up for the task!
2001 Space Odissey · Rescore

Another exercise from my Master's Degree was to rescore this scene from the movie 2001. It originally had no music or sound. Since I also am a sound designer, I was very inclined not only to write original music for it, but also to create sound design (sounds for the monolith, for light, spacial sound design, etc). So I got really creative with it and composed music with my piano and did a new sound design in Pro Tools.
Buenos Días · Zacarías de la Riva (Rescore)

I had the pleasure to have composer Zacarías de la Riva as one of my teacher's during my Master's Degree. In his classes he often challenged us to rescore scenes from movies and animations he had previously composed original music to. So he gave us a piano midi sketch previously written in Logic and we had to orchestrate music from that besides rewriting some passages he'd leave completely blank for us to create something new. This is what I wrote and orchestrated for this scene from the movie "Little Eggs: An African Rescue" (2021).
Espilates · Branded Film

Esperanza Monreal is a pilates teacher who owns Espilates studio. She needed a branded video for Instagram that showed not only what she can do, but also her sponsor, Bonpilates. I shot and edited her video, but I was also in charge of writing and producing the song and creating it's sound design. She wanted this kind of vintage, yet clean 90s VHS look, which inspired me to create this cool beat for it and to incorporate this glitch/vhs textures to transitions and letterings to give the video sonic dimension and rapid pace.
